To help you prepare for your Distance Reiki session, I’ve shared some general guidelines below to support your experience. While these recommendations help ground the energy, please always prioritize your own intuition, feel free to adjust your practice in whatever way resonates most deeply for you:
Set an Intention: Before our session begins, take a moment to set a personal intention. You might focus on a specific area of your life or body that needs care, or simply remain open to receiving overall balance and well-being.
Find a Quiet Space: Choose a quiet, comfortable space where you can remain undisturbed. You may wish to dim the lights, play soft music, or use essential oils to create a peaceful, sacred atmosphere.
Settle and Recline: Find a comfortable position, sitting or lying down, and close your eyes. Take a few deep, cleansing breaths to relax your mind and body. You might visualize yourself enveloped in a warm, comforting light.
Invite the Energy: As the session begins, simply be open to the flow. You may notice sensations like warmth, tingling, or a deep sense of calm. Trust that the energy is moving exactly where it is needed most.
Anchor in the Breath: If your mind begins to wander, gently return your focus to your breath. Slow, steady breathing facilitates the flow of energy and keeps you present in the moment.
Reflect with Gratitude: After the session, take a moment to express gratitude for the healing energy you've received. Gratitude can amplify the positive effects of the energy and help integrate the healing on a deeper level.
